Somali Fire Arms Act is a bill uses to control weapons and other firm arms, It is an offense used for how such weapons are treated and owned.
in this act the following terms shall each have the following meaning:
Weapons: means explosives and anything intended to kill or cause injury, or property damage.
Export means any weapon sent outside of the Federal Republic of Somalia, which is illegal and deadly, for the purpose of trade or profit.
Import: refers to any weapon that is smuggled into the JFS, which is deadly.
Borrowing: means the seizure of an illegal and deadly weapon, with the intent to commit a crime.
Technique: means any weapon that is illegally made, repaired, modified or upgraded for its effectiveness.
General Weapons of Mass Destruction: means any person who sells any type of deadly weapon in the Federal Republic of Somalia, in violation of this Law.
Broker: means any person who sells, facilitates, or profits in various ways contrary to this Code.
Exploitation: means any person who profits from an illegal weapon of mass destruction, an act contrary to this Act.
Possession of Weapons: means any person in possession of an illegal weapon within the borders of the Federal Republic of Somalia, an act contrary to this Law.
Minister: means the Minister of Internal Security
